We are very proud to have been recognized by the Hope Foundation School for our 3 year journey with them in their Annual Day celebration. These three years have been an honor and amazing learning experience for us. We are looking forward to our future MathMatters leaders to extend our relationship with them. We have planned a final competition with the Hope Foundation school that will come shortly. Thanks for your support.

Olcott Memorial High School Lab Inauguration 26/03/2017

One of our proudest moments in recent times have been this event. When a teacher asked the kids if they would like to leave the lab to go get lunch they all collectively yelled "Nooo!" We could not have been happier. This lab has wide open walls and a spacious room providing us with a very pleasing space to work with. We were happy to improve the space by putting up posters, adding cupboards, painting. In the end we had a beautiful lab with smiling students who were eager to use it for couple more hours. The establishment of this lab marks the opening of our 4th lab. It has been a privilege to work with the Olcott school and more importantly, the students there. We look forward to collaborating with them for future projects and using this lab to inspire a new way of learning.

We would like to thank the Round Table organisation and specially Ms.Yachana Khanna. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity.

MathMatters is proud to announce that we are taking a step ahead. We call it the Peepul Conference. Peepul Conference is an initiative taken by the long running student led club called MathMatters at AISC. The conferences seeks to bring students from higher grades (8-12) in underprivileged local schools and expose them ideas and values that are essential to their daily life. By connecting specialized speakers who are passionate about their subject with students who are enthusiastic to learn, we strive towards making a positive impact on those in our local community. We not only introduce students with topics that are essential in life but also create friendship as we bring students from two different schools. This year, our conference has speakers who are talking on Digital Citizenship, Leadership and Entrepreneurship and Gender roles and portrayal in Tamil Media. The event will take place from 11:30AM to 5:30PM in the AISC campus. The students are divided into four group who then rotate through rooms to hear from different speakers. The conference's mission is to share values that guide students to lead a safe and fulfilling life. MathMatters has been focused on teaching and sharing values for 3 years, and the creation of The Peepul Conference is a great step ahead for us. Please look forward to seeing more!
