Telecom giant Vodafone is altering it’s tariff plans on a daily basis and recently they discontinued a postpaid plan which was exclusively available to iPhone users.

The 649 iPhone Forever plan, which was introduced in February 2019, has been discontinued by Vodafone. The company, however, did not reveal the reason behind removing the plan. It currently has three hot selling postpaid plans including Rs 399, Rs 499 and Rs 999.

The 649 iPhone Forever was the most-favoured plan in the range of Vodafone's RED range of plans. The plan offered unlimited calling facility to all networks with 90GB of data, which also had a carry forward facility up to 200GB and 100 SMSs per day. As per a report published in Telecom Talk, the existing users of 649 plan will have to migrate to some other plan after months to avail postpaid services. There has been no official confirmation from Vodafone about the same.

Among the three existing postpaid plans of Vodafone, the entry-level postpaid plan is priced at Rs 399. The plan comes with unlimited calling to all networks, 40 GB monthly data and the user can also carry forward 200 GB data to the next billing cycle. The plan also comes with added benefit of worth Rs 2497.

Apart from the 399 plan, the Vodafone also has a Rs 499 postpaid plan, which comes with 75GB monthly data along with the option of carrying forward 200 GB data in the next billing cycle for the users. It also has unlimited voice calling benefits and 100 SMSes per day. Along with the usual benefits, the plan also offers Amazon Prime membership worth Rs 999.

Another most favoured plan is Rs 999 REDX postpaid plan which has unlimited calling facility along with unlimited data. However, the most beneficial thing about the Rs 999 plan is the free subscription of Netflix as well as the Amazon Prime for one year. It also includes Airport lounge access.

So if you are not a prepaid user and have a little more money to spend, you should totally opt for the Rs 999 REDx postpaid plan. The Amazon Prime Membership that costs 999 per year and the Netflix subscription plan that costs 499 to 899 per month, is available with the Rs 999 plan without any extra charges.

PUBG Mobile season 11 began a couple of weeks ago and introduced a new Domination mode as well as a new Team Death Match Arena map. Like the last anniversary, the game is expected to get a big overhaul to celebrate the milestone, which means PUBG Mobile Season 12 is going to be all about the second anniversary.

Mr Ghost Gaming recently revealed the theme for PUBG Mobile Season 12. The upcoming season is titled "2Gether we Play" and could feature several themed items such as colourful skins, new player icons and sprays. It is worth noting that Mr. Ghost Gaming has been largely accurate in his predictions or leaks around PUBG Mobile.

PUBG Mobile Season 12 is expected to introduce a bike workshop with advanced skins and players will be able to upgrade up to level three. Some Battle Pass rewards were also leaked, suggesting it will offer UC chests and three skins, two male skins, a glowy battle suit and a purple-coloured cat skin. The next season could also introduce a new skin of the M416 assault rifle.

All of these rewards can be acquired through a lucky draw during the season. There was no mention of new game modes coming to season 12. The current season for PUBG Mobile will conclude on March 3, while an update for the next season could be released in the next few days following the end of Season 11. PUBG Mobile celebrated its first anniversary with a revamped lobby, special discounts and exclusive rewards. And the second-anniversary event promises to be even bigger.

The Oppo F15 is now up for sale in India via online and offline retailers. The smartphone was launched last week as Oppo revived its F series in India. India Today Tech reviewed the Oppo F15 a few days back and found that this is a phone that ticks all the right boxes. In other words, the Oppo F15 seems like a good option for Rs 19,990 but there are some caveats. Caveats in a while, though.

First, let's see what the Oppo F15 offers at its price of Rs 19,990. The smartphone comes with a MediaTek Helio P70 processor, a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display, and a combination of four cameras at the back. If you are looking for a smartphone that is going to be primarily used for photography and selfie shots, the Oppo F15 looks like a really good deal.

The Oppo F15 is priced at Rs 19,990 for the only variant that packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The colour options for the smartphone include Lightning Black and Unicorn White. Oppo F15 can be bought on Flipkart, Amazon, and offline stores across the country starting Friday, January 24.

So there you have it. Photography and battery life are the strong points of the Oppo F15. The Oppo F15 has four cameras at the back: a primary 48-megapixel sensor, a secondary 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a field of view of 119 degrees, and two 2-megapixel snappers for portrait and monochromatic shots. For selfies, the Oppo F15 has a 16-megapixel front camera equipped with the company’s beautification features. The smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.

Caveats now. Having said that, the Oppo F15 does have a few bits that it lacks. For example, the Vivo S1 Pro offers better battery capacity, something that people who game a lot may prefer. Then, there is Galaxy M40 that offers a similar kind of performance and specifications that the Oppo F15 has but at a lower price. Overall though, the Oppo F15 is one of the best buys under Rs 20,000, so you won't regret it in case you go for it.

OnePlus had a surprise presentation at this year's CES, showing its disappearing camera technology with the Concept One device. The phone gathered a lot of attention and even with OnePlus confirming that it won't hit the production line anytime soon, the design approach was liked by the masses. The phone stood out with all of its Papaya Orange goodness that reflected McLaren's sports cars designs. However, that lavish orange finish may not have made it to the final concept device. Wonder why?

OnePlus recently took to its community to share an image of the Concept One device that wore an all-black attire. Yes, a Concept One device with a stealth-inspired look. In the blog post, OnePlus said that the phone originally was supposed to use black leather instead of the Papaya Orange seen in the final product. An image of the first prototype has been shared with black leather and a highly shiny finish.

The narrow glass finish stays in the middle while the McLaren logo stays on top of the camera. The image also shows the triple camera visible and the housing shows traces of carbon fibre pattern. Even the leather stitchings are finished in black.

One of the main reasons why OnePlus tried leather on Concept One was to achieve a premium build quality. The leather offers a soft-touch finish while it offers a thinner hand feel than glass. Does that mean future OnePlus phones will come with leather backs? Maybe not as OnePlus says it wants to explore different materials for making its phone feel more premium but that material should be environmentally friendly and easy to clean.

OnePlus also talks about the Electrochromic glass in detail in the post, explaining the technology. However, it also talks about the scope of technology in smartphones. Dynamic materials in smartphones can help the company try different designs and explore new possibilities. Maybe OnePlus is hinting at discovering a way to hide the selfie camera in the display? Or, it can use the same glass to change the colours of the phone based on moods? Anything can be possible.

For now, the Concept One is just a concept device that showcases the electrochromic glass. However, chances are that we might see design influences in the upcoming OnePlus 8 series phones. This year, the OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to become more premium than ever, flaunting a 120Hz display with the MEMC technology to make the content seem smoother.
