“I am stuck and deep down want to reach out to a coach... but not sure with what mindset do I reach out?”
When we face challenges in our career, health, or relationships, our default setting is often to ‘ Rough it out’ and silence our inner voice hoping ‘This too will pass’. The result? We stay stuck/ not moving ahead…. like running on the treadmill !!!
Now here’s the truth: reaching out to a coach is not weakness. Instead, it’s a reflection of inner strength and resolve to face the challenges. Be mindful that a coach can help you break the loop ONLY if you show up with the right mindset:-
• Come with an open mind : Drop the "I know it all" attitude.
• Be receptive to feedback: Real growth happens when you are receptive to new perspectives.
• Take ownership of your actions : A coach guides you, but you take the action and become accountable to the coach.
• Ask questions: Don't hold back. Clarity comes from digging deeper.
• Be brutally honest: Share your real struggles. A coach DOES NOT judge you….its safe judgment-free zone where breakthroughs happen.
Remember: Growth starts when you have a compelling reason to change which is much stronger than the comfort of staying stuck.

Are Your High Performers feeling Overburdened?

• Is it necessary? What actually happens if you don't involve them?
• Is it fair? What existing work will get delayed if they take this on?
• Who else can do it? Is there someone else who could share the load or step up?
• Who is missing an opportunity? Who else in the team would be grateful for the chance to grow?
As a leader be mindful of your top talent's time and energy coz that’s what will contribute towards sustainable team success and help others grow alongside these high performers. Balance the workload—leadership is to be fair, not exhausting.

LET GO 2 GROW
All possibilities exist in the now and that’s where growth happens. You will not scale new heights if you are tied to the weight of the past. Holding on to the past drains the energy in you.
Letting go is not forgetting — it’s choosing not to live in the same chapter long after the page has turned.
