Oil and Gas Development Company Limited - OGDC has inducted and commissioned the state-of-the-art WiNG Nodal System developed by Sercel to enhance seismic data acquisition and strengthen exploration efficiency across Pakistan’s challenging geological terrains.

MD/CEO OGDC, Ahmed Hayat Lak, inaugurated the system during a ceremony at OGTI, where senior management and technical teams witnessed the operational capabilities of the advanced nodal seismic technology. On the occasion, Dr. Khalid Amin Khan, General Manager Incharge (Exploration), briefed participants on the capabilities of the technology.

The WiNG Nodal System is a high-density land seismic acquisition solution designed to deliver high-resolution imaging for exploration across complex geological structures and challenging terrains, including mountains, deserts, hilly areas, and marshy landscapes. The system features true nodal design without sensor cables, superior data quality, extended battery life, rugged field reliability, precise synchronization, and efficient data management workflows.
