Seaweed is a powerful, low-cost natural fertilizer and soil conditioner for dry land.
Seaweed (Marine algae) extracts have been reported to be beneficial to plants for early seed germination, better plant growth, improved crop yield, and also in preventing biotic and abiotic stress. Since ancient times, seaweeds have been used as compost, mulch, extracts, and other forms to improve plants' stress tolerance and yield. Seaweeds are macroscopic and multicellular plants primarily present in the oceanic environment.
