Not Today, Rain. Not Today

She had plans. Big plans. Sketch the skyline from the window. Finish the half-inked page that's been sitting on the desk since Thursday. Maybe even try that new gouache paints that she's been saving for the right day.
And then — pitter patter pitter patter — the rain decided to show up. 🌧
Uninvited. Unashamed. Absolutely relentless.
So here she is. Face buried in her hands. Hair piled up in that chaotic bun that only happens on days when she's given up trying. Dark nails pressing against her cheeks like she's physically holding herself together. She is not okay with this.The thing about rainy days is — they erase the light. And she draws with light. The way it falls on the neighbors rooftop, on a chai cup, on my plants... Without it, everything feels a little dull and not at all bright. But maybe — maybe — in about an hour, she'll peek through her fingers, notice the way the rain makes the window-pane look like a watercolour wash, and think,"Hmm...
I could draw that." Maybe.

Right now though? Hands on face. Full protest mode.

✨️Lost among wooden clocks & borrowed time✨️

We stumbled into this little craft fair tucked away in a corner of the city we'd somehow never explored — and honestly? The city never disappoints when you let it surprise you.There were hand-carved mirrors, gilded clocks ticking away in no particular hurry, tiny wooden boxes hiding tiny wooden secrets… and us, sneaking a selfie from behind all of it like absolute children. These are the kinds of afternoons I want to keep — slow, unplanned, full of texture and each other. The city is a love language, if you let it be.I've been drawing more, noticing more, living more — and I want to share all of it with you here.

Still can't believe that today I completed my first ever marathon.

Growing up I used to love to run and was into sports but slowly lost it somewhere on the way.
Buy now that I am getting back to the roots...roots of the person that I am and the person that I have always been, I have decided to press the restart button.

Live this life, the way I want and have as much fun as humanly possible whilst doing so.
And fill it love, light and laughter!
