Proudly presenting the case study of our work with YourStory Media for their Pitch Fest: an audience engagement app used in TechSparks Bengaluru.

YourStory is India's biggest and definitive platform for startup and entrepreneur-related stories, resources, and research reports.

The PitchFest is a founder-first program by YourStory. It provides:

- a large-scale platform for startup founders to present their business ideas to a live audience, investors and a jury.
- get funding, advice, outreach, growth and more.

The YS Platform wanted to introduce more active & real-time engagement opportunities for the audience with their live pitch format.

Founders, potential investors, and potential customers were the key personas. All of them were looking for the converging signals of confidence and trust.

The challenge was to build an easy interaction format that delivers value to all three personas in less than 10 days of the event.

We rapidly prototyped a fantasy investing league using Glide in a few hours:

- everyone in the audience can be an Angel Investor
- preloaded Investment Wallets with INR 1Cr.
- they can build a portfolio by investing in multiple companies
- like the real world, allocation is not easy, so min 5L and max 20L - once the round is filled, they can oversubscribe.
- apart from investing, they can explicitly mark interest in becoming a customer or investor.

And then refined it over the next few days with multiple features like Admin Console, Analytics, Graphical Charts, Onboarding Guide Reviews etc. (Check the pdf for all features).

And it worked:

- 603 Unique Investors
- 1164 Investments
- INR 152.2 Cr Raised in Virtual Investments
- INR 4.77 Cr - Avg Money Raised
- INR 25.2 Cr – Highest Investment Raised

We built a quick MVP from an idea and helped the YourStory team find PMF and test their thesis all within 14 days.
