Once you have mounted the treadmill of the corporate world, please do not avoid difficult conversations.
- We cannot deliver on the promised date (client)
- This year you won’t be promoted (team mate)
- There has been a goof up in the project. (Client)
- We will not win this deal (boss)
- We will have to raise a change request for this work. (Client)
- We chose the other OEM (partner)
Best to communicate early, clearly and with empathy. Its the best way to enhance trust.

But the real growth happens when managers start asking how questions. Coaching discussion.
How are meetings improving?
How strong are your relationships across the ecosystem consultants, analysts, alliance partners?
Because focusing only on the "what" makes you a reporter.
Focusing on the "how" makes you a leader.

Your first 90 days in any role are not about proving brilliance, they're about building balance.
It's when you listen more than you speak, respect every colleague (not just your boss), decode the real culture, and earn trust through quick wins.
Many youngsters rush to impress in the early years. The wiser ones rush to understand. Because when you truly understand, the impact you create will always last longer.

HIRE Act? Get fired up.
We have lived through Y2K, visa bans, recessions, dot-com crash. Each time the headlines screamed “This is the end.” Each time, Indian IT came back stronger.
If your only strength is low cost, you’ll always be vulnerable.
If you build on trust, depth, and human qualities, no law can erase your value.
Policies will keep changing. Markets will keep shaking.
But your mindset decides whether you panic… or rise.
Because price can be taxed. Trust cannot.
