The X-Trail is a flagship product in India bought by the Japanese brand Nissan via. the CBU route to take over the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Škoda Kodiaq and Citroën C5 Aircross. Here's the first impressions on the Nissan X-Trail.

1. As it's a CBU product the fit finish, paint and build quality levels are top notch.
2. It sits on a 20-inch wheels giving it a bolder stance.
3. No leather upholstery on offer.
4. The interior fabric seems to be borrowed from the lower Nissan models like the Magnite.
5. Third row is best when second row is tumbled or folded
6. Poor boot space if the third row is up. Best for small backpack.
7. Bigger screen and more features would have been welcomed at this price point.
8. Soft plastics panels would have been welcomed.
9. Powered tail gate is a huge miss.

At Rs. 63.50 Lakhs on road Navi Mumbai the price isn't justified as the competition offers more premiumness and better quality levels.

Recently, I had the opportunity to get my hands on India's first CNG bike the Bajaj Freedom. So here are the first impressions on it.

Lets start with the pros of the bike
It gets a throaty exhaust note in both petrol and CNG modes
It pulls great on higher gears despite being on speeds as low as 15 kmph
The seat height at 825 mm is comfortable for tall riders, however short riders may find it a bit difficult.
The riding posture is quite aggressive for the commuter segment but it's not a great issue.

Coming to the negative points of the Freedom 125
One could find a lot of false neutral while shifting from 4 to 5. But overall shift quality is slick
The fuel filling flap is quite flimsy as the hinge is made of plastic. It might break if not operated properly
A seperate indicator for petrol would have been welcomed.

Verdict

Although, I loved the Freedom 125, but with great bits, there are some negatives as well. However, with a claimed range of over 300 kms it a great bike to be considered. Additionally, it may take some time to rectify the niggles as the one which I tested was a pre-production mule. But we expect Bajaj to work on it before its introduced to the customers

This is the FIAT 1100 manufactured around 1951-1960. Back it was also as ‘Dukkar Fiat’. It's also the predecessor of the Premier Padmini.
So, if you are wondering what makes it so special about the 1100 is the Su***de Front Doors the one mounted on the B-pillar.
Under the hood it used to get a 1.1L petrol engine which used to produce around 37 Hp back in the day.
