Surprisingly, the answer is Diet Coke! Here’s why:
1️⃣ Juice = LOTS of Sugar (even "fresh" juice). No fibre = BIG insulin spikes.
2️⃣ Whole fruit > Juice: A whole orange has fibre, less sugar, and keeps you full.
3️⃣ Diet Coke’s artificial sweeteners? Not harmful in moderation (a can a week won’t hurt).
Sure, juice has Vitamin C, but you can get that from other foods without the sugar overload (e.g. spinach, tomatoes, etc.).
Takeaway:
✅ Eat the whole fruit.
✅ Avoid juices (high sugar, no fibre).
✅ Craving a treat? A Diet Coke now and then is fine.

😖 AVOID SOY PROTEIN, IT'S BAD! 😳
Well... no!
Soy protein is not at all bad/horrible/dangerous, and it will not turn guys into gals!
In fact, soy is one of the rare vegetarian foods that is a complete protein with all the essential amino acids.
So here's a quick RECIPE CARD for ya'll that's SUPER EASY to cook, takes like 10-15 minutes max, and is decently high in protein and extremely HIGH in satiety!
Can be stores in an airtight container for a few days, so can be easily used as a snack for a week.
👌 Do SHARE the recipe! 👌
🔥 THIS = What WE ALL Must Do To Fight This 👾 VIRUS 👾 ...
Key points:
✅ Coronavirus cannot be eradicated by masks, warm water gargles, turmeric, ginger, etc.
✅ It IS a big deal because of how fast it can spread and how many people require medicare, NOT how "fatal" it is...
✅ The only way to keep it controlled is avoiding crowds, social distancing, and hygienic practices.
✅ Stock your home with emergency foods/supplies. Stock up on foods that last long (rice, pulses, chocolates(!), etc.) and medicines (first-aid, paracetamol, etc.)
✅ Stay vigilant, don't blindly trust "opinions" (including ours!) unless they are backed by science and latest data.
✅ We can beat this, the virus itself is NOT FATAL - but the overwhelm it will cause on the medical facilities is what's scary... just think... 300-600 patients requiring hospitalization in EVERY CITY, EVERY DAY!

👾 The Virus = We Need A Little Of Both...
✅NOT CREATING PANIC OR SPREADING RUMORS
✅ BEING CAUTIOUS AT THE SAME TIME.
No doubt ALL of you have been getting a LOT of information on the Coronavirus lately...
From Whatsapp university to videos made by Doctors to fake scammers offering solutions to dietitians asking you to "boost your immunity" (no, you don't want to do that, see below).
With that in mind... here are 5 science based facts that we think you should know, as of today...
=========================
1⃣ If we, as a population, can spread this over a longer duration, there's a better chance of managing it (see image).
2⃣ Currently, NOTHING can "prevent" it except actual physical distancing. So don't believe any "eat ginger, do hot water gargles, or sun exposure myths".
3⃣ The data on severity/mortality is changing every day. At best, it causes a week or two of flu-like illness, at worst, it's causing severe problems and death in rare cases.
4⃣ It IS going to get worse IF it spreads through the community/people like other countries (Italy, US, S. Korea). India has a notoriously low levels of hygiene, so brace yourself, cases are probably going to rise exponentially in the coming few weeks.
5⃣ You don't want to (and can't) "boost your immunity". There's a condition called a "cytokine storm" which means your immune system going in overdrive and killing your own cells as collateral damage. This is what happens in the severe cases. Also, your immune system is too complex for you to "change" with food. The only best known thing you can do is getting enough sleep, a complete diet, and some physical activity.
=========================
Let's hope we win this fight soon.
Stay at home as much as possible.
Protect your old.
All the best.
