Topic: Communalism (Origin & Growth): Part 1

With inclusion of Khilafat issue into Non - Cooperation Movement (NCM), religion gained foothold in wider National Movement.

In post NCM era, religion based politics i.e. Communalism was practised by both Hindu & Muslim organizations/political parties (Muslim League, RSS, Hindu Mahasabha, Jamaat- e- Islami) which ultimately resulted in partition of country on religious grounds.
