पंजाब और हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट ने अपराधियों के खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत डिफ़ॉल्ट जमानत को रद्द करने के निरस्ति के मापदंड स्पष्ट किए हैं। यहां तक कि आरोपी के खिलाफ गैर-जमानती अपराध का मजबूत मामला बनने पर जमानत रद्द की जा सकती है। इस निर्णय से डिफ़ॉल्ट जमानत के आधार की परिकल्पना स्पष्ट हो गई है, लेकिन यदि अभियोजन निर्धारित अवधि के भीतर आरोप पत्र नहीं दाखिल करता है, तो जमानत गुण-दोष के आधार पर रद्द की जा सकती है। यह निर्णय एनडीपीएस मामलों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है।

In response to the Hapur police lathicharge incident, the Allahabad High Court has taken a decisive step by constituting a judicial committee.

This committee, led by Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta, includes esteemed members like Justice Rajan Roy, Justice Mohd. Faiz Alam Khan, the Advocate General of Uttar Pradesh or their nominee, the Chairman of Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh, and the President of High Court Bar Association. This action was initiated following a petition by the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh.

The committee's aim is to address grievances, and it underscores the commitment of the judiciary to uphold justice and accountability in such cases.
