A red run mini marathon race was organised by the Red Ribbon Club of Kasturba Gandhi Institute of Higher Education in association with Arunachal Pradesh state aids control society. The program was initiated in a bid to raise awareness about Hiv/Aids and also to combat the stigma surrounding it. The activity further aimed to accentuate the importance of fitness oriented lifestyle among the youth.

The mini marathon race witnessed the participation of the students from Kgihe. Miss Mini melo( B. Ed 3rd sem.)and Mr sinda umbrey ( B. Ed 3rd sem) emerged as winners from the category of girls and boys respectively. The event culminated with the felicitation of the winners by Dr. K.C Pradhan ( principal kgihe).

On the whole, the program was concluded successfully.

Spread awareness, avoid misconception, fight against it and let's end the social stigma regarding aids.
