A 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 was conducted to mark the occasions of International 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚 with great enthusiasm and reverence. The assembly commenced with the morning prayer, followed by the thought of the day, news headlines, couplets, a story, and speeches presented by the students of Grade IX (C & D).
The programme featured a variety of engaging activities. Alankrita and Sonal delivered thoughtful speeches, while a meaningful skit titled “ Kate Haath” was presented by Aahna, Anushree, and Avyayu, highlighting the dignity of labour and the invaluable contribution of workers in society. Rudransh and Siddharth conducted an interactive G.K. session, and Bhumika Tiwari narrated an inspiring story based on the life of Lord Buddha. A couplet was beautifully recited by Moulik.
Further enriching the assembly, Shashikant spoke on the significance of Buddha Purnima, while Alankrita shared her thoughts on Labour Day. A special activity in the form of a drawing competition on Labour Day was also organized, encouraging students to express their appreciation for workers creatively.
The importance of International Labour Day was effectively conveyed through the skit, emphasizing respect for all forms of work and the dignity of labour. The assembly also highlighted the teachings of Lord Buddha, focusing on peace, compassion, truth, and non-violence as guiding principles for life.
The assembly concluded with inspiring words from the Honourable Principal, who encouraged students to respect every worker and imbibe the values of kindness, humility, and mindfulness as taught by Lord Buddha.
