A case has been registered against seven people, including -based leader *taThakur, on charges of hurting the religious sentiments of another community during a procession held on Sunday in village near , as part of the Akhanda Hindu Sammelana.

Ahead of the Hindu Sammelana held in Machhe village on Sunday, a procession was taken out. While standing on a vehicle, Harsh*ta allegedly stopped the vehicle near the and gestured as if shooting an arrow toward the dargah, thereby hurting religious sentiments.

It is also alleged that she delivered a speech at the gathering that incited religious sentiments.

A complaint in this regard was filed by a person named Abdul Khader Mujawar.

Cases have also been registered at the rural police station against the event organizers, including Belagavi residents Supreet Simpi, Shrikant Kambale, Bettappa Tarihal, Shivaji Shahapurkar, Gangaram Tarihal, and Mallappa.
