Have you heard...there are no motor vehicles in Matheran?

Yes! For so long, it has been known as Asia's only automobile-free hill station. Since the place had been declared as an eco-spot by the government, automobiles are banned in this location.

But how do the residents and visitors travel here then?🤔
The place has about 500 ponies, 450 horses and a 100 hand-pulled rickshaws!! 😋🐎🍁🍂

And ofcourse, a toy train. 🚂🛤😌

However, as per sources, Matheran will soon witness the arrival of e-rickshaws! 😯

When in Ahmedabad, do visit the mesmerizing Adalaj Ni Vav, i.e., the Adalaj Stepwell, for its beautiful architecture.
