*Bhutan:: happening at lungtenzampa school*

The Royal Bhutan Police is investigating an
alleged assault involving a group of girl
students from Lungtenzampa Middle
Secondary School in Thimphu.
Videos circulating on social media appear to
show several girls physically assaulting other
girls inside a classroom. All parties involved
are minors under the age of 18.
Police said the case is under investigation,
while the PEMA Secretariat is conducting
psychosocial assessments of those involved.
A team led by the Director of Ministry of
Education and Skills Development, Tashi
Namgyel was sent to the school today by the
Secretary to investigate the matter.
The case is being treated as a serious incident
of bullying. Appropriate action will be taken
based on the findings...
