Pixie's RTPCR reports came in.
She has tick fever with the tick fever strains Ehrlichia canis and Hepatozoon canis.

We've been regularly taking her for drips every day, dropping her back at her place so she isn't unnecessarily stressed out in a hospital environment, and are keeping a close watch.

After 5 days, for the first time, her vitals seem to be slightly improving. Were keeping our 🤞.

We almost went for a blood transfusion yesterday as her haemoglobin was very low. But our vets eventually recommended against it keeping some other factors in mind.

She's still very dull and it's painful to watch our true blue powerpuff girl like this. But she's a fighter. AndAll your good wishes are keeping us going.
