( HANDLOOM GOODS )All Kinds Of Exclusives Banarasi Sarees…
When a customer purchases a fully finished saree, it may look effortless.
But in reality, the journey of creating a single saree involves immense dedication, skill, and teamwork.
The process begins with preparing the warp (tana), which itself requires 2–3 skilled artisans working through different stages. Once the warp is ready, it is handed over along with the weft (bana – thread) to the weaver. The artisan then begins the intricate weaving process.
After the saree is woven, the backside zari threads are carefully trimmed — either by machine or by hand, depending on the complexity of the design. At this stage, the saree is almost complete, with only the final polishing remaining.
If the saree is dyeable, the process becomes even more detailed. Dyeing involves additional steps and multiple skilled hands working together. In this video, you can see how many people are involved in the dyeing process of just one saree.
We hope this gives you a deeper understanding of the hard work and craftsmanship behind every Banarasi saree.
Thank you for appreciating the dedication of Banarasi weavers. ✨
