The Architect has slipped off the board.

In the early hours of 22 April 2026, Peter J Carroll, architect of Chaos Magick and lifelong experimenter in bending reality, exited the game unexpectedly.

Millions felt the ripple. His books were not passive objects. They rewired minds, cracked open rigid systems, and handed people the tools to build their own meanings. He did not follow a tradition. He created one and invited others to play inside it.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters. His body will be cremated in a private ceremony for close friends and family.

His ideas are still loose in the world, multiplying, mutating, refusing to behave.

Reality just got a little less predictable.
