Our Story
Persian carpet is one of the best artwork around the world. It means the carpet is hand-knotted in Iran and is not imitation made in Pakistan, India, Turkey or elsewhere. This is a significant issue. Even though carpets may look the same superficially, they are not. Carpets that are made in Iran are dyed differently, usually with vegetables pigments. In addition, the Persian knot is different that its color and quality has a long life. Every region of Iran has a unique design in which the variety of climate leads to different types of livestock with different quality of wool. This variety of quality affects the price of carpets in Iran.
Zohan is a rural in southeast of Iran, near Birjand city. Because of beautiful landscape of this region, we named our company, Zohan Carpet. We have professional groups in recognition of special Persian carpets, exporting for VIP people around the world.
