Community 'The Secrets of Sounds and Listening'
2025/26 season

Sunday 5 October 2025 4-7:30 pm great presentation of MEDIEVAL MUSIC with Maestro SIMONE SORINI, singer and singing teacher of Medieval and Renaissance music.

The meeting is FREE.
Everyone can participate.

Subsequently, in the period October / December 2025, for those interested, a real course of 5 meetings will start both on medieval vocality and on knowledge of important authors of the period (see attachment).
The October 5th meeting will feature ample space for the most significant pieces of music, along with all the useful information for those who wish to experiment, explore, and experience this music.

Subsequent dates:
October: 5 -12 - 26.
November: 9 -23.
December: 14

The October 5th meeting is FREE, but to keep the room within capacity, reservations are required at the CIMI Secretariat.

A special concert with The ROME BRIDGE CONNECTION, a great Rock blues band of accomplished performers from Rome and Cambridge. Eddie Zengeni (vocals/harmonica), Emanuela Di Pietro (vocals), Emiliano Caivano (guitar), Francesco Rametta (bass guitar), Mirko Teodori (drums), Special Guests Claudia Nigro & THE RISING BLUES will present a varied repertoire, ranging from Otis Redding, Muddy Waters, The Rolling Stones, Little Walter, Slim Harpo, and many more! A unique and complete show expressing the passion and accomplished versatility of these extraordinary performers!

CATERER: Hummustown is an initiative which caters lovely Syrian food (and more!) to help refugees integrate into their host community, providing them with occupation and training. Sharing work and helping integration. www.hummustown.com

A DEDICATED BENEFIT EVENT
TIMING: The welcome desk is located at the park upon entry and it will be open from 5.30pm in order to allow time for entrance procedures. There is a short walking path in the lovely park from the welcome desk to the main picnic and concert area. The concert will start approximately at 6.15 pm.
TICKETS: €20 per adult which includes park entry + picnic plate by Hummustown with falafel, dips, bread + live entertainment, support for the arts. Children under 16 free admission to park and concert (€5 picnic for children if requested). Extra picnic plates, drinks available on site. Picnic tables are also available with no extra cost (each table can seat up to 6 people).
