If you’re ready to make life with your dog easier (and more enjoyable), send me a message, I’d be happy to help you and your dog Level Up!⏫️
Luca is a French Bulldog puppy currently working on strengthening his basic commands and improving his leash manners. His owner recently had knee replacement surgery, so polite leash walking is especially important.
Like many puppies, Luca can be energetic and easily distracted, but he’s a very smart boy and has picked up his basic commands quickly. Because he’s a solid little dog who doesn’t yet realize his strength, leash walking has taken some extra practice. After introducing a prong collar, he began to better understand polite walking and showed great improvement by the end of the lesson. Over the next few sessions, we’ll gradually transition him back to a no-pull harness to make walks easier and more enjoyable for him and his owner.
If your dog or puppy is struggling with their basics and/or walking on a leash message me to schedule your first training session. I will give 10% off for first time puppy parents that see this post!

🦃Tuesday Training Tip: Thanksgiving Edition!🦃
Thanksgiving means full plates, full houses, and full hearts, but it can also mean *temptations* for curious noses and paws! Here are 3 quick tips to help your dog stay calm, happy, and polite during the holiday chaos:
1. Practice Place Training Before the Feast:
Teach your pup to relax on their bed or mat while the food’s on the table. Use treats or a stuffed Kong to keep them busy and reinforce calm behavior.
2. Prep for Doorbell Distractions:
Holiday guests mean extra commotion at the door! Before Thanksgiving, practice calm greetings; reward your dog for sitting or staying as the door opens. This helps prevent jumping, barking, or dashing out in excitement.
3. Create a “Calm Corner”:
Between the noise, smells, and guests, even the friendliest dogs can get overstimulated. Set up a cozy retreat with their favorite blanket, chew, and soft music. Let them decompress there when things get busy. A relaxed dog is a happy dog!
✨Remember, training during the holidays isn’t about perfection, it’s about setting your pup up for success and keeping the season joyful for everyone.
