Queen Of Making A Scene

I’m not waiting on it anymore—I’m witnessing it.

A week ago today, The Devil Wears Prada 2 hit theaters, and I’ve been taking this moment in ever since. I’ve now seen the film 3 times and still keep having “wow God” moments.

Last summer, wifey and I were up in the wee hours of the morning for 2 straight days making sure I got safely to Brooklyn for filming. Tired, but obedient. Just faith, consistency, and betting on myself even before I saw the bigger picture.

To now be connected to such an iconic film — especially as a longtime Meryl Streep fan — feels surreal.

What made it even more special was curating a Newark Fashion Night Out community screening + fashion movie night because a scene was shot in Newark. Seeing friends and community show up to celebrate with me meant everything.

Small wins turn into bigger ones.

Another win? I’m officially certified in wardrobe + set design through NJ Motion Pictures. I’m not fully where I want to be yet, but with God, I know I’m on my way.
