In our "Building Trust in an Increasingly Digital World" forum last Wednesday Danielle Archer, Executive Director of National Integrity Action
shared some valuable insights with us on why there is a trust deficit in Jamaica, especially as it regards digital adoption.

Archer explains that a lack of transparency, accountability, and alignment with public values has eroded confidence in leadership and fuelled hesitancy in adopting digital solutions,. emphasizing that meaningful digital adoption will not happen unless leadership actively works to address the issues that led to distrust

Jamaica's National Action Plan (NAP) is a set of co-created commitments that sets out governmental priorities across multiple areas.

The current NAP commitments cover:

✅ Anti-Corruption
✅ Open Data
✅ Access to Information
✅ Climate Change
✅ Human Rights
✅ Access to Justice
✅ Youth Development

The Multi-Stakeholder Forum (MSF) is responsible for overseeing the co-creation process, implementation, and monitoring of NAP.
