✨ Chapter 32 ✨
Thank you all for loving on me during Alyssapalooza. All of your thoughtful messages, pictures, videos, singing, and gifts are so very appreciated and fed my praise kink 😜
Ended 31 as the President of a Nonprofit Organization, a homeowner, and halfway through my MPH. Let’s see what 32 brings 🥰

Y’all, I really forgot I have a whole mental health diagnosis. Things were so controlled for so long that this episode caught me off guard. It wasn’t until week 10 of 13 that I said to myself “oh s**t, I HAVE BPD!” 🤯
It was as if I thought I was magically cured (I know, I give you permission to take a minute to laugh at my expense).
Ironically, all of the skills and coping mechanisms I “mastered” went out the mfing window in August when the down hill started🙃 I haven’t danced, worked out, meditated, read, walked, saw my friends, used my planner, done affirmations or gratitude, done a card pull, ate anything my body needed, been outside, slept- nothing…
Self-care is more than a trend. These practices prioritize your health and wellness. It makes it so you can be your best self for yourself, which in turn helps everything else in your life. You need to practice self-care on your best days, extra on your worst days, and also every day in between. If you stop when you feel good, as if you’re all better, you’re setting yourself up for failure when you need you the most.
Every damn day, refill your mfing cup. How are you practicing self-care today? Share with me in the comments 👇🏾
