When it comes to buying fabric looking online might not be the best choice so most people flood the stores looking for the perfect fabric. In america unless you live in LA or NYC there arent many options and you just have to take what is given. Having gone to places like mood in LA and dongdaemun in South korea I can confidently say Nippori fabric town is my favorite shopping place for fabrics and patterns. The lay out of the stores are easy to follow and in no way overwhelming. The beautiful array of textiles in all textures and colors. An interesting thing about this town is each shop is dedicated to certain aspects, for example one store might focus on furs while across the street a store for jersey fabrics. Theres even a store for buttons and one for bag accessories. Wheter you are an experienced semestres/tailor, a fashion student, or just doing a DIY project this cute town is truly a wonderland and the employees at each store are incredibly helpful to help you find your prefect fabric.
