Inclusive Digital Futures (IDF) program was officially launched by the County Government of Busia. We are set to go!
The main Goal and purpose of the program is to increase digital employment and entrepreneurship among young people (majority women and PWDs) contributing to a decline in youth engagement in harmful coping mechanisms by June 2026.

ADT, as a downstream partner in the UK Government–supported Digital Access Programme (DAP), implemented in partnership with the County Government of Busia, convened a Community Digital Champions (CDCs) meeting across Matayos Sub-County, the fourth sub-county visited under Phase II of the program.

The purpose of the meeting was to orient CDCs on Phase II of the program, titled “Inclusive Digital Future,” which seeks to expand equitable access to digital skills, services, and opportunities at the community level.

The event brought together key stakeholders and leaders, including H.E. the Deputy Governor of Busia County, Papa Arthur Odera, the British DAP Lead, Mr. Charles, the Busia County Director of Youth, Judiciary ICT Director, Busia County ICT Director, community leaders, and Community Digital Champions.

Phase II focuses on strengthening community-led digital inclusion, empowering local champions, creating employment opportunities, and ensuring that digital transformation reaches underserved populations, particularly the youth, across Busia County.

As an organization, we are honored to host a delegation from World Neighbors (USA) at our main office. Their visit holds great significance, as they were the first to fund our 2001–2006 project — a partnership that laid a strong foundation for community empowerment and sustainable development. We are grateful for their continued interest and commitment to the work we do, and we look forward to exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
