The contrast between Hon Nelson koech of Belgut Constituency and Hon. Joseph Cherorot of Kipkelion East is like day and night when it comes to development. While one is focused on delivering tangible results and improving the lives of his people, the other seems completely out of touch with the expectations of the electorate. What makes it even more concerning is that both constituencies receive the same amount of NG-CDF funds from the national government, yet the outcomes on the ground are completely different.

In Kipkelion East, residents are growing increasingly frustrated as what is being called “road maintenance” is nothing more than dumping mud on roads, with little to no real improvement. This is not development; it is a disservice to the people who deserve better infrastructure and responsible use of public resources. As we approach August next year, we must make a firm decision to change the leadership and choose leaders who are committed to real development, accountability, and a better future for Kipkelion East Constituency.
