UPDATE: A three-judge High Court bench has upheld the constitutional impeachment of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, validated Prof. Kithure Kindiki as the current Deputy President, and barred Gachagua from holding any public office under Chapter Six of the Constitution, effectively ending his legal challenge and derailing his 2027 election plans.

Mandera South Mp Abdulwahab Kore has condemned the killing of innocent civilians in Elwak and Qabanawa, terming the attacks barbaric and unacceptable.
