"I can't remember."
That is the usual thing to say when you are stuck with a question, whether it be in a conversation or in an exam.
But this can be solved by simply using your imagination. Try turning what you read into a vivid visual image, it can be funny, it can be scary, or even erotic. Anything that will make it stick out from the normal thing that happens.
This simple step will go a long way towards making things more memorable. By doing this you are forcing yourself to learn more and think about the topic you are trying to learn. The more you think about it, the more time you spend on it, the more it will stick to your head.
One of the things that I've been doing recently to improve my imagination is I make videos about the things I'm trying to learn or do.
