When misinformation takes root, it fuels confusion, weakens trust, delays development projects and divides communities. Every unverified rumor has the potential to undermine progress and prevent people from accessing quality services.
By prebunking misinformation with verified facts, evidence, policies and trusted sources, communities become more resilient, informed and empowered to make sound decisions. Together, we can protect development initiatives, strengthen accountability and ensure that truth not manipulation guides our future.

Digital literacy empowers citizens to recognize, verify and challenge misinformation before it spreads. By equipping communities with fact checking skills and access to credible information, we can prebunk false narratives shared both online and offline. This strengthens public understanding of development projects, promotes transparency and accountability and supports effective service delivery for all. Together, we can build informed, resilient communities where facts guide decisions and misinformation has no place.

📢 DID YOU KNOW?
Health services in Kenya were devolved under the Constitution of Kenya 2010, giving county governments the primary responsibility for delivering healthcare services.
The Facilities Improvement Financing (FIF) Act, 2023 further strengthens healthcare by clearly outlining the roles of both county and national governments.
County Governments are responsible for:
📌Ensuring citizens have access to quality healthcare services.
📌Planning and allocating budgets for health facilities.
📌 Establishing and supporting Health Facility Management Committees.
📌 Managing and improving healthcare services within their counties.
The National Government is responsible for:
📌 Developing policies and regulations to guide healthcare financing.
📌 Monitoring and overseeing the implementation of the FIF Act.
📌Providing policy and technical support to county governments.
📌Working with counties to strengthen healthcare service delivery across Kenya.
An informed citizen is an empowered citizen. Understanding these roles helps us advocate for better healthcare services and greater accountability.
