Biologists conducting a wildlife survey have found the remains of cheetahs in five caves in northwest Saudi Arabia, writes reporter Richard Conniff in a new piece.

“I think it does show, and this is exciting in terms of practical conservation, that cheetahs from that historic Northern African range would be suitable candidates to reintroduce into Saudi Arabia,” says WCS's Dr. Luke Hunter.
