Today, my heart carries a profound ache as we say goodbye to a truly remarkable man, my very dear former boss, Abdallah Bouhabib. For 25 years, he was a constant, powerful presence in my life – first as a mentor in the workplace, and then as a cherished friend long after our professional paths diverged. He was so much more than a "boss"; he was truly a great brother, an unwavering supporter, and someone who genuinely became an integral part of my family and found a permanent place in our hearts.
I had the immense privilege of working alongside Abdallah for 15 years. This included five years in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Issam Fares and ten years at the Issam Fares Center for Lebanon, where I witnessed firsthand his wisdom, his commitment, and his masterful approach to his work. Beyond our professional collaboration, Abdallah Bouhabib was one of Lebanon's most prominent diplomatic figures. He served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and as Lebanon's Ambassador to the United States, among many other significant roles throughout his distinguished career.
His influence wasn't just in the projects we completed or the goals we achieved; it was in the way he uplifted spirits, offered guidance, and celebrated every success, big or small. His wisdom, his kindness, and his unwavering belief in me shaped who I am today. He guided me, he challenged me, and he always, always had my back. He inspired me and so many others with his integrity and dedication.
The memories we made, the laughter we shared, and the countless lessons he imparted will be etched in my mind forever. I will never forget him, and his legacy of generosity, genuine care, and professional excellence will continue to inspire me.

Rest in peace, dear boss 💔. You will be profoundly missed.
