Computer Assembly

computer consist of the following
1) input devices :
keyboard , mouse , scanner , camera , mic
2) output devices
printer , monitor , speaker
3) processing part
-computer case:its a matlic box
where all parts assembled
discuss parts individual

a) power supply
it's a part transfer AC power (110 v - 220 v ) - 300 watt
into computer internal voltage DC
b) mother board
it's the main part where all computer parts connected to it
c) cpu : central processing unit ( micro processor )
d)memory (RAM) , ROM (already installed in mother board)
e) drives :where data & program saved
*types of the drives:
optical drives
hard drives
floppy drive ( dead)

Power supply
Its a metalic Box responsible for converting AC power (220 / 110 ) V. to DC computer volt .
Slots :
1) Power Cable entry
2) VGA power cable out
3) Power switch
4) Fan
5) computer , drives connectors

Power supply problems :
1- Computer don't turn on
a- Check Power
b- Check power cable
c- power cable not good
2- Fan not run
a- check for Fan ( from dust )
b- replace the power supply

Power supply connectors are :
1 : 20 pin main mother board power
2 : 4 Pin drive power (D shape ) for IDE drives
3 : 4 pin Fan power ( square shape )
4 : Sata drive power a black slim connector .
