Playing after an extended break of 2 months, we managed to staunchly defend a modest score through sheer teamwork, creative thinking, and only '9 1/2' players on the field (with the skipper fielding with just one hand and the other bandaged). Congrats to the entire team for beating a top quality side that went unbeaten in the first round of the CDCA tournament this year 🏏

Yes, we have been quiet here for a long time, but the cricket has been nothing short of enthralling! Extremely proud to finish the CDCA tournament with 4 wins out of 7 (including a walkover, albeit against the weakest side in the group). Great effort by the entire team to come back strongly and narrowly miss qualification for the next round. Memorable tournament for all Paragons especially winning at SLLDC Cricket Ground in Narahenpita 🏏
