​The start of this year brought a lot of pain—both physical (a sprained ankle that hurt like a B!) and a very personal, painful loss. Everything felt low and exhausting, even though I had so many exciting things lined up for this year. 🥀

​Instead of letting the discomfort take over, I channeled that energy into creating Rooted & Rested, a 31-day It was born out of my own need to find ground when everything felt shaky.
​I’m so grateful to say that the early bird copies sold out immediately! We’ve since restocked at 🪴

A bulk notebook order I got through

So much fun to do notebooks for loot bags 💗 I used to love getting stationary in loot bags as a child. & it would promptly be confiscated by my parents because they thought it would be wasted. Years later, I was going through my father's desk drawer looking for a notepad (he had a drawer full of it) & came across all the stationary I'd received as a child. I was incensed until I had the boys & had to watch them scribble away on all the & they received. 🙈

Posting this in honour of all the that come into our lives & make everything better with a lick, tail wag & cuddles.

The welcome I get from Robin is the best way to go back home. That sad face when we all leave the house is just unbearable. The way she follows me from the toilet to the bedroom at times is so comical - they're literally 2 steps apart 😂

We've crossed oceans together & she has been through both my pregnancies & survived my mother's feeding & Rover 🤣🤣🤣

How I wish she (& all our fur babies) could live for just one day less than us 💞

One of the reasons I got into the business of curating giftboxes was because I LOVE gifting - both giving & receiving. & I love the high I get from the act of gifting. Sure, it's so much easier to get a voucher or just give the cash so the receiver can but a curated giftbox says (to me) "I took the time & got you something I know you will like" or "remember that time you choked on a prawn & I burst out laughing" (yes I'm talking about you 🤣🤣)

That's why I always try to include a customized item so that the receiver knows this box of goodies was curated FOR THEM. like the notebook with a binary code along the spine for a first time dad or the Stephen King themed book sleeve for his

Life can really be a downer at times & it's awesome to be able to be a part of something that makes someone feel joyful or laugh because of a memory of an incident is replicated or referred to in the gift they get. It's honestly one of the most amazing parts of my business that I get to make someone else happy.

It's very rare to get feedback from the actual receivers of my giftboxes but what I've posted are a few that I managed to unearth from my WhatsApp gallery 🙈 Some of them have come years later but it's still lovely to read/hear that someone treasures my work. It's so rewarding 💗
