The Sri Lankan government has announced visa-free access for citizens of 35 countries, including major nations like the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, Saudi Arabia, China, India, Russia, South Korea, and Japan.

This initiative will take effect from October 1, 2024, and will last for six months. The decision, approved by the Cabinet.

How to Apply for a Sri Lanka eVisa?

6. Once your application is submitted and payment is confirmed, you will receive an acknowledgment receipt and a unique application reference number

7. Track the status of your eVisa application online using your reference number

8. Upon approval, download and print your eVisa to present to the Immigration officer at the port of entry in Sri Lanka
