1988, A Plane Lost Its Roof Mid-Air ✈️
On This Day, on April 28, 1988, Aloha Airlines Flight 243 experienced one of the most shocking aviation incidents in history when a large section of the aircraft’s fuselage tore off during flight, leaving part of the cabin completely open to the sky.
A Boeing 737 suddenly lost part of its roof at 24,000 feet… exposing passengers to the sky.
😱 95 people were on board

Despite the catastrophic damage, the pilots managed to land the aircraft safely.
