Second Bi-Annual Report on Manifesto Monitoring Released
The People’s Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) and the March 12 Movement launched the second bi-annual report on monitoring the implementation of the government’s policy statement “A Thriving Nation – A Beautiful Life” on March 12, 2026, at the Lavender Hall of the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo.
A Panel discussion was also conducted following the launch, featuring Hon. Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Hon. Dr. Harsha de Silva, Member of Parliament,(Samagi Janabalawegaya) and Maheshi Herat,AAL, Executive Director of Transparency International Sri Lanka. The discussion was moderated by Rohana Hettiarachchi, Executive Director of People’s Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL),and Co-Convener of March 12 Movement engaging participants in a valuable dialogue on the findings of the monitoring report.
