The Flag at ලිහිණිගල is a unique feature only seen at the Lovers' Quarrel, an indeginous procession here in Galle. The event is held in parallel to the 1st flag of both the colleges, as a Lovers’ Quarrel tradition. Here, the college flags are hoisted on Lihini Gala, which is situated near the Galle Harbour, in the Indian Ocean and as it is suggested by the name itself, the college flags are carried to the location by crossing the Great Indian Ocean.
Richmondites, mainly the Swimming Team with the lead of Life Savers mainly takepart in this unique and colorful event.
