"Hill Country Installation" is one of the main club service projects done together by the Interact Club of Girls' High School, Kandy and Trinity College, Kandy. The main purpose of the HCI project is to widen the Interact movement by installing new clubs as well as functioning interact clubs through this installation. Also clubs who are unable to afford an installation ceremony with the participation of the District Committee and other dignitaries are also installed at the Hill Country ceremony giving due recognition to their club and the committee.
Over the years HCI has also been able to revitalize and initiate new clubs and make them active clubs in the interact movement. In the last few years, many clubs which had been declining were re-initiated through Hill Country Installation. They are now functioning as active clubs under the Interact District of 3220.
This event has been an annual event in the Interact calendar for the last four years and has been noticed to benefit not only the hosting schools but also the entire movement with positive result.
