As part of its project implementation , DEN-L and OWE exit two Project Communities.

With support from IRISH -AID, the Development Education Network -Liberia DEN-L and Organization for Women Empowerment OWE under the RISE project exit two Project Communities in Nimba and B**g Counties.

The project which was a pilot started on December 15, 2025-March 15,2026 with focus on VSLA, Climate Smart Agriculture practices and Leadership and Conflict resolution.

The project targeted One hundred, twenty (120) Vulnerable women and people living with Disability.
During the turning over ceremony, the Deputy Director for Programs at DEN-L praised the two Communities for being cooperative to the project implementation.

Speaking on behalf of the women in the two communities, Domah-pa and Baila, Yaih Paye and Vivian Paye thanked Irish Aid and its partners for the training and mentorship provided during the project period.
They expressed hope that the project would return to their communities to further strengthen women’s groups.

“For the three key deliverables, we promise to hold them close to our hearts,” they added.

They further noted that the initiatives would help empower them to promote their own development and improve their communities.

Madam Betreace K. Sondah noted, while the project was in the pilot stage, there was hope for the Donor to make an extension.

She used the occasion to point at three key project delivables , Seeds Banks, Village and Loan Association, and Demonstration sites in the two Communities,Baila and Domah-pa, both B**g and Nimba Counties.

Speaking on behalf of the two Project Communities, John O.Flomo ,town chief of Baila and Paramount chief George Dormah praised IRISH-AID -AID, DEN-L and OWE for the process of implementation.

They both promised to take full control of the project.
