Faith Odunsi, a 15-year old Nigerian SS3 (12th Grade) student, won the Global Open Mathematics Tournament (GOT).

GOT is a maths contest routinely held by the Mathematics for Life Foundation. It brings students from the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and across the globe-so to speak, to compete mathematically.

Faith won the final with a 30-point margin, scoring 40 points whilst the 1st runner up got 10 points.

It can be recalled that Faith had earlier won the Cowbellpedia Competition answering 19 questions in 60 seconds.

She's an emerging Hypatia (c. 355-415)-the female known to have taught mathematics.
