It’s been five years. Five long, transformative, and challenging years since releasing an EP. And through every single moment of this journey, you have been my anchor and my fuel. As I finally get to share this body of work with you, my heart is overflowing with a gratitude that words can barely capture.

I want to thank you for everything. Thank you for staying with me through the quiet times, the tough times, the moments of doubt. You never left. You were always there, not just for the highlights, but for the grind, believing in me even when the path wasn’t clear. Your support is the reason I kept pushing, kept creating. This EP is my letter to you. It’s the story of these past five years, poured into every beat and every lyric.

A project like this is never a solo mission. It takes a village, and I was blessed with an incredible one. A huge, massive thank you to every fellow artist who blessed this project with their talent. You brought your unique energy and made these songs complete.

God’s timing is the best timing. Let’s not rush to see international gates fly open overnight. Let’s trust the process. Let’s allow this work to grow, to resonate, and to take us to a very different level, organically and powerfully. This is our foundation for everything to come.

When Soul Fresh traveled to China, that was when my breakthrough came. At that time, in order to make it in the industry, it was really hard.

When I dropped “Bachelor,” that was my real breakthrough. Shoutout to Masterqueen, DJ Baby Boy, DJ Famous, and others, those were the people who gave me a chance on the airwaves.

Back then, you needed radio. There was no social media buzz, because no one cared about it, and you also needed Paynesville in order to break into the industry.

Right now, anyone can blow because it’s much easier in the industry than it was in my days. A lot of people don’t even know that I’m not from this generation.

Back then, for you to blow, you had to be extra. Talent alone wasn’t enough, there were a lot of other components you needed in order to make it.

The funny thing people don’t understand is that I’ve never had a competitor since I started doing music. The reason I don’t see anyone as a competitor is because I feel like if you do that, you’ll end up chasing something that you’re not.

If I consider Artist A a competitor, then I’ve set them as my benchmark. But my approach is different I set yearly plans: what I want to do, what I want to accomplish, how I can accomplish it.

I look at my finances, I look at collaborations, and that’s how it has always been for me. So any artist who sees me as a competitor I don’t really see you, because I already have my own plans for each year.
