RE: ADVERTISMENT REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS- RFQ 2026/27
The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) invites quotation from suitably qualified interested companies for filling of drainage pipe duct gaps from the fourth floor down to the first floor at Election House Maseru West.
SPECIFICATIONS:
 Works: filling and finishing works using durable wooden material within a colour and finish similar to the existing flooring and surrounding fitting.
 Quantity: twelve (12).
 Maintain the professional appearance of the premises and ensure proper finishing of the drainage pipe enclosure.
EVALUATION CRITERIA.
• Lead time.
• Price.
• Specifications.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
 The price should be VAT inclusive for suppliers who qualify to collect VAT (attach VAT registration certificate).
 Attach valid relevant Business Identity Card.
 Attach valid copy of Tax Clearance.
 Side Visits is compulsory at IEC House Maseru West on Tuesday at 11:00am.
NB:
• The specification should be written in full on the quotations.
• Provide the IBR number.
• Quotation should be on the letter head or bear the Company’s stamp.
• Price should be quoted in Maloti currency.
• IEC is not bound to lowest price.
• Indicate the Lead time on the quotation.
• Companies are not allowed to use IEC logo without being authorised.
• Payment will be processed after provision service.
• The submission should be sent via email only, hard copies will not be accepted.

The quotations should be emailed to [email protected] on or before Thursday 2nd July 2026 at 16:30.

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), in partnership with UNDP, today concluded a successful BRIDGE Workshop for representatives of political parties.

The workshop culminated in a certificate handover ceremony led by the IEC Chairperson Rev Dr John Maphephe and the UNDP Deputy Resident Representative Dr Taye Amssalu, recognizing participants for their commitment to strengthening democratic processes, electoral knowledge and inclusive political participation.

IEC extends its appreciation to all participants, facilitators and partners for their dedication and contribution towards promoting credible elections and democratic governance in Lesotho.
