Chapter 29 🎞️

As I reflect on the last four years of this business and the last 29 years of life, the word that comes to mind is blessed.

A little over four years ago, I picked up a camera for the first time since middle school, and I haven’t looked back since. Two years ago, I was balancing working full-time, being in school to pursue physical therapy, and capturing families and couples on the side as a hobby. Deep down, I knew this was what I wanted to do full time, and officially being able to say that I am is a blessing in itself.

This is your reminder to follow your heart.. no matter how cliché it sounds and to simply do what makes you happy. Forget the outside noise, the doubt, and the imposter syndrome. Do you.

In 2025, I traveled more than I ever could have imagined, met incredible strangers who are now friends, and flew solo twice, overcoming a fear along the way. To say this is my life now feels like a blessing beyond words.

I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for Samantha Rae Photography and for everyone I get to meet along the way.

Cheers to 29 years of life, year five of this business and to another year of stepping outside my comfort zone.
