Here are a few things people don’t know about digital court reporting:

• Proceedings usually happen between 9 AM – 5 PM
• Some depositions can last all day
• Backup audio is a must (always have a backup to your backup)
• Many proceedings today are remote or hybrid
• Accuracy and organization are everything when you’re responsible for the official record

Every day looks a little different, but one thing stays the same — making sure the record is captured clearly and professionally.
