LES VRAIS

In this project and private house of Renzo Mol, a Dutch designer and the artist behind Ozner studios, materials and their contradicting characteristics are a central theme, certainly when perfectly combined into this warm unity for his private home in the very north Drenthe province of the Netherlands.

When Sebastien Lewyllie from Les Vrais, design curation and distribution company received the first pictures of the kitchen from Renzo, he needed little thought to see that the combination of the hand-woven Mexican palm above the RVS kitchen isle would indeed create the warmth Renzo was looking for.

At NYS Exclusive in Kortrijk, Belgium, the leading local name in luxury jewelry and watches, Stephanie Laporte and Umami architects merged three separate buildings into one elegant and harmonious whole. The original, protected 18th-century townhouse was carefully expanded and anchored in a timeless design where class and sophistication take the center stage.
The renovation embraces the historical grandeur of the building, while subtle contemporary interventions ensure a seamless transition between old and new. Characterful materials, refined detailing, and a thoughtful spatial experience enhance the exclusivity of the jewelry, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and luxury. A stately, timeless environment where craftsmanship and aesthetics meet.

The studio davidpompa fiorito stone meta custom lighting chandelier at one of the main desks at the lower floor and the cupallo wall at the jewellery section upstairs are discrete yet precious pieces matching the top of the trade choice offered by NYS.

It was a pleasure for LES VRAIS to do some brainstorming, selection of the lighting materials and in-situ testing with Stephanie Laporte and Bossuyt interiors.
