The French-Algerian artist Kader Attia will curate the next edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, opening in December 2027.

Founded in 2012 in Kerala, the has become one of the leading contemporary art events in South Asia, known for transforming the port city of Kochi into a major platform for global contemporary art.

Known for his work on repair, postcolonial histories and cultural circulation, Kader Attia’s appointment continues the biennale’s dialogue with artists and curators shaping conversations beyond Western art centers.
